Ms. Anam Zahid
Anam Zahid has completed her Masters in Information Technology (MS-IT) from NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (SEECS) in 2015. She has joined NUST-SEECS in September 2012 for MS-IT taking Object Oriented Technologies as her specialization track. Her association with KTH-lab started in 2013, where she worked on her thesis titled “Secure Sharding and Key management in Cloud based NoSQL databases” under the supervision of Dr. Awais Shibli. Her thesis has provided secure sharding and management of cryptographic keys in NoSQL databases residing on the Cloud platform. She has designed and implemented the security modules of fine grained encryption, cryptographic key management and fine grained access control in Sharding architecture taking NoSQL database MongoDB as a case study.
Prior to her post-graduate, she has worked as a Dot Net developer in Webnomics Technologies, Faisalabad in year 2011-2012. Her main responsibilities were to develop Asp.net and MVC3 based dynamic web applications handling real-time data. Her areas of expertise include but are not limited to, Web Development, Problem Solving, NoSQL databases, Sharding Security and Object-Oriented Programming. Currently, she is working as a Lecturer in Department of Computer Science (DCS) at National Textile University (NTU), Faisalabad.
